Docks Beers and Docks Academy run ‘Open House’, a community initiative to support those in the North East Lincolnshire area who may be feeling lonely or socially isolated.

Open House at Docks Academy is a free safe haven for all, between 1-8pm on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. It runs continuously throughout the year for anyone who may feel alone, who would like to make new friends or just get out of the house, or for those who simply need to talk or to feel part of a community.

We provide free tea, coffee, refreshments and biscuits. Our small team are there to help you feel welcome and are always happy to sit and chat. We organise free activities every month (these are optional) such as quizzes, crafting, arts, games, music and presentations by local groups.

Docks Academy has a wheelchair-accessible lift which provides access to the first floor. We are committed to making the venue accessible to everyone and we endeavour to accommodate all access requirements within the constraints of our historic building, and health and safety regulations.
