A full night of emo, pop-punk and alternative anthems is coming to Docks Academy this autumn as Paramoreish + Tekkin Back Sunday take over the stage on Friday 2 October 2026.
Fans of 2000s rock, Kerrang! era playlists and late-night MySpace discoveries won’t want to miss this one, as two of the UK’s top tribute acts celebrate the music of Paramore and Taking Back Sunday with a high-energy live show packed with the songs everyone knows.
Paramoreish bring the sound, attitude and energy of one of the most iconic alternative bands of the last two decades. Expect huge sing-along moments with tracks like Misery Business, That’s What You Get, Decode, Still Into You and more, delivered with the same punchy guitars and powerful vocals that made Paramore festival favourites around the world.
Joining them are Tekkin Back Sunday, recreating the sound of emo heavyweights Taking Back Sunday with a set full of soaring choruses, emotional lyrics and early-2000s nostalgia. From Cute Without the ‘E’ to MakeDamnSure, their show is built for anyone who grew up on loud guitars, band tees and heartbreak anthems.
Together, the two bands promise a full night of throwback favourites, perfect for fans who lived through the emo and pop-punk era, as well as anyone discovering these songs for the first time.
The show takes place at Docks Academy, one of North East Lincolnshire’s leading live music venues, known for bringing a mix of touring acts, tribute shows and club nights to Grimsby throughout the year.
