Magic, live music and a bit of mischief land at Docks Academy this November as the Rock & Roll Magic Show rolls into town.
On Thursday 19 November, London West End performer Arron Jones brings his high-energy mix of illusion, comedy and rock classics to Grimsby. It’s not your typical magic show — this one leans heavily into big tunes, audience interaction and a running mission to pull off something ridiculous enough to land him at number one in the charts.
Arron first caught attention on Britain’s Got Talent, and this show builds on that — blending sleight of hand with live performance and a soundtrack packed with familiar hits. Expect nods to artists like Queen, Journey, Twisted Sister, Joan Jett and Billy Joel, all worked into the show in unexpected ways.
The format is simple: a seated evening show with plenty of laughs, big moments and crowd involvement. If you’re after something a bit different from a standard gig or comedy night, this sits somewhere in the middle — part concert, part magic show.
Early reviews back it up, with audiences highlighting Arron’s stage presence and the mix of humour and spectacle throughout.
