Tantalize your Christmas with an evening at Docks Academy’s very first adventure into the beautiful world of burlesque. This dazzling night of rhinestones, feathers and sassy strutting is a showcase of the UK’s best modern burlesque artists who are the living embodiment of glamour, sophistication and female empowerment.

With triumphant performances from four burlesque legends, a speciality variety artist, fabulous costumes, under the watchful eye of the UK’s most sought after Burlesque Chanteuse and Compere, BEERLESQUE revives this classic artform with a glamorous new show. If you’re looking for a totally different Christmas experience, this is for you. Expect a night like no other!

Eliza Delite
Eliza will captivate your senses as she radiates vintage glamour and an unwavering stage presence. For over a decade she has performed for audiences across the globe, from Rome to Chicago, Berlin to New York. Her repertoire has earned her a place on the international burlesque circuit and she is regarded as one of the UK’s top exports for burlesque. Based in London, she performs at some of the city’s top burlesque and cabaret revues, with 2019 landing her a highly sought after residency in Mayfair (at Park Chinois). Voted one of the UK's top 20 Burlesque performers by 21st Century Burlesque magazine for 5 consecutive years! Renowned for her ability to evoke a sense old Hollywood glamour, Eliza brings a new angle to her performances by mixing iconic visuals with contemporary song choices. Her background in art, film and performance studies lend itself perfectly to the creative process, pulling audiences deep into her world, a place that resonates with a mix of familiarity and a fresh finesse.

Kiki deVille
All hail Cabaret Royalty! Our hostess for the evening, Kiki DeVille, was born to be on a stage - naturally engaging, entertaining and with a voice to knock your socks off. Enchanted by Kiki’s very presence, audiences the world over have succumbed to the exuberant glamour of one of Europe's most high profile Burlesque Chanteuse and Hostesses. Her takeover of the European scene has seen her hosting slots at Oslo Burlesque Festival, Berlin Wintergarten, Ron Calli's Apollo, Berlin Burlesque Week and The Stockholm Burlesque Festival. Since starring on Team Will-I-Am on BBC The Voice UK Season 3, Kiki has also made a splash in the vintage and Burlesque world securing sponsorships from Besame Cosmetics and show runs at the world famous Madame Jojo's in Soho.

Scarlett Daggers
One of the original remaining performers of the UK Burlesque revival, Scarlett Daggers is a burlesquer who truly knows and understands her art. This Rock ‘n’ Roll redhead will get you hot under the collar with her sizzling stage presence and megawatt smile. From a Hot Rod greaser-girl to a B movie Cobra Queen and even Robin Hood, Scarlett certainly stands out from the crowd. Performing across the UK, and internationally, for over 14 years, her unique acts place her in high demand. As well as performing Scarlett produces several shows across the UK including The Gilded Merkin in Nottingham, Birmingham & Cardiff, La Dé Da Cabaret in Derby, The Wet Spot in Leeds and Dr Sketchys in Nottingham.

Baby Daisy
Baby Daisy is one of the UK Burlesque scene’s newer performers and one with an old skool look that people adore. It’s no surprise that with her bombshell appeal and Old Las Vegas costumes she has fast become a hit on the international burlesque dancer circuit, as well as an accomplished jazz and blues vocalist.

Lady Wildflower
She’s one of our own! Lady Wildflower is a local Grimsby girl who now lives near Manchester and has an international following. For the past decade, her burlesque with a rock twist has regularly graced stages all over the UK and Europe as well as in China and New York. She commands audiences with her fierce, high-energy performances, full of drama and passion. Oozing charisma, Wildflower's show-stopping acts dazzle, entrance and delight. Now an internationally acclaimed and highly in-demand burlesque artist, Wildflower has been consistently voted in the Top 20 UK Burlesque performers every year since 2014 by 21st Century Burlesque.

Natasha Moonshine
The spectacular Natasha Moonshine is a professional Hula Hoop Performer who is happiest when performing and sharing the magic of hoop dance with others. Hoop Performer with Marawa's Majorettes a 5 x World Record holding Hula Hoop troupe, Moonshine is an incredible performer who delivers sumptuous full power acts. Within beautifully choreographed routines, she effortlessly spins multiple hula hoops, performing remarkable feats of flexibility and dexterity.

In this event you will be able to claim a refund from Seetickets. Docks Academy is unable process refunds in all circumstances. Please note these events are for people aged 18 and over. Anyone aged under 18 will be refused admission and no refunds will be issued for tickets purchased for under 18s, whether or not ticket protection has been paid for. Accessibility:

We are sorry to report that, due to Covid19's significant impact on our business, we are still not yet wheelchair accessible. Currently, the only way of entering the Docks Academy is via a flight of stairs. However, our mid term plans include a wheelchair accessible lift coming up to a new external balcony which will have level access to the venue, funding allowing. Please rest assured wheelchair access remains our highest priority and as soon as we have reopened with our non socially distanced programme we will look at this in earnest.
