This show is part of the 15th anniversary tour of his iconic debut album โThe Chronicles of a Bohemian Teenagerโ - the perfect soundtrack for those who fall in the generation gap between gen x and millennial.
The seaside laptop folk from 20 year old Sam Duckworth, set the blueprint for the modern singer songwriter back in 2006. 1000+ shows and 100,000+ sales later, Chronicles is still a relevant soundtrack to a country wrestling with issues of racial integration, supply chain, workforce and itself.
Now 16 years after its release, Get Cape. Wear Cape, Fly, AKA Sam Duckworth, has been touring the album in full (appearing with a rhythm & horn section).
โItโs incredible to think that 15 years on, Iโll be returning to my favourite venues, playing this album. So much has changed and yet so much is still familiar. Iโm looking forward to seeing how weโve all grown and throwing it back to some myspace โ06 energy." - Sam Duckworth.
