Join us for a special day as Open House celebrates its 3rd birthday – a community-led space that started with conversation and creativity, and continues to grow with your support. This event is completely free, open to all, and as always, pressure-free.

Community Buffet

Bring a dish if you’d like or are able to – sweet or savoury, family recipes or something simple – but there's absolutely no pressure. We just want you there!

Sofa Chat: Mental Health & Open House Origins

Settle in for an honest and open conversation around mental health, the story behind how Open House began, and the power of safe, welcoming spaces.

Qualsafe Video + Talk

Hear about the impact of Mental Health First Aiders through a short video and a possible guest talk from Qualsafe, one of the organisations helping raise awareness in this space.

Creative Activities & Conversation Prompts

Explore hands-on activities designed to inspire conversation and connection. No skills needed – just curiosity and a willingness to play.

Rice Aligning Table - 
A mindful activity linked to our relationship with food and body image.


Topics: Diet culture, body positivity, favourite family recipes.


Coin Circles & Doodle Table
 - Overlapping penny-sized circles filled with patterns and doodles, creating a collaborative piece to frame or exhibit.


Ceramics Tables
 - Work with air-dry clay to create mini pinch pots, trinket dishes, or anything your hands guide you to.
Topics: Soothing through stimming, the joy of “hands-on” hobbies, what makes you feel good.

Live Music: Elson | 5PM

To wrap up the day, enjoy a live performance from Elson – a brilliant three-piece alternative band from Grimsby bringing great sounds to close the celebration.
