After a packed-out first edition, our country day party is back.
On Saturday 12 September, we’re turning Docks Academy into a daytime dancefloor built for boots, denim, and a few hours of country classics. Doors open at 1pm, and we’ll keep it moving right through to a 5pm finish — no late night, no excuses.
Our resident DJ will be working through the essentials, from Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton, through to the newer end of the genre with Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen. If it’s recognisable, it’s getting played.
The floor is open all afternoon for line dancing — whether you know what you’re doing or you’re just giving it a go. No pressure, just get involved.
We’re encouraging full country dress if you’re up for it. Hats, boots, double denim — the lot. We’ll have prizes for the best-dressed on the day.
