From Monday to Friday, businesses on King Edward close from 5pm, therefore when businesses are closed, you can park free of charge in front of these businesses. This also applies to all day and evening on a Saturday and Sunday. Therefore, you’ll be able to park very close to our building.

The next option would be to purchase a car parking space at Tesco car park via Horizon Parking, which costs around £2.50 www.horizonspaces.co.uk (Type in DN31 3JD for the Tesco car park). It’s unreserved parking, so a Blue Badge car parking space isn’t always guaranteed. You cannot pay for this parking in Tesco. It is through an App.

● Flashing lights, haze and strobe lighting are common at our event.
● We allow customers to bring medical provisions or own food / drink due to personal reasons. Security conducts bag searches on arrival. We advise you to let the team know in advance.

Our staff are fully trained in the event of an emergency and evacuation. Staff are briefed prior to every event and have a dedicated accessible staff member dedicated to ensuring your safety in exiting the building. Fire alarms are sounded by an audible alarm and a flashing light in the Academy.

● Dedicated refuge areas for those with disabilities
● Evacuation Chairs available in our upper levels, and trained staff to use them
