Rock band Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard brings their fast-paced energetic sound to Grimsby on Sunday 24th March, with support from Grimsby's Last of the Wonder Kids.

Following on from their Welsh Music Prize nominated debut album ‘Backhand Deals’ in 2022, the band have been writing and recording at frontman and producer Tom Rees's Rat Trap studio, the room where Rees has previously recorded and produced tracks for emerging talent - Panic Shack, Do Nothing and The Bug Club.

Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard’s new music takes the fast-paced energy from the band’s debut Non-Stop EP and twists it with a heavier guitar sound which stems from Tom's teen obsessions with Black Sabbath and The White Stripes. Speaking about both the tour and the new music, Tom says "Playing new songs is always exciting but these ones are so heavy and loud and relentless playing them live is like drinking adrenochrome or something it’s why I live I’m very excited”.

Bouncing between post-punk and alternative indie rock, Grimsby's Last of the Wonder Kids mix fuzzy melodies, surf breaks and infectious hooks to paint an often chaotic picture of life and love in their small Northern town.

Having toured extensively since their formation and with several major festivals under their belt, the four-piece has been celebrated by BBC 6Music Recommends and BBC Introducing across the UK for their songwriting and high-energy live shows.
