DOCKS BEERS 2ND BIRTHDAY PARTY: TIMESLOT 3
Hosted in Docks Academy
Saturday 10th October
Docks Beers is taking over the Docks Academy for its second birthday party on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October. For the first time EVER we will have live music in the Academy as two outstanding acts take to the stage - first up we welcome the 'Revellers', who have come all the way from London for these two days of Docks Beers Birthday Celebrations. This trio of cool cats perform drums, bass and guitar & vocals, playing a wide repertoire from blues, soul and pop. Next up DJ L-ROK is a scratch DJ bringing a cross-genre set to our soundsystem, from Hip Hop to Pop classics to House Party vibes. L-Rok has warmed up the stage for acts such as The Bloodhound Gang and Terrorvision.
We are keen to stress this is a safe and socially distanced event and we will be acting on all the latest government guidance: temperature scanning on arrival, contactless tickets, seating will be on socially distanced tables of no more than six, no queuing for the loo, table service only, and all our staff in masks. Our bar staff will be on hand to provide table service for drinks throughout the day and evening. If the events are cancelled for whatever reason a full refund will be paid.
We will have streetfood from one of Docks Beers' finest streetfood vendors and, in a mini extension of Docktoberfest, German beers and Steins will still be available.
PLEASE NOTE, so as many people as possible can join us we have divided Saturday in to 3 sessions and Sunday in to 2 sessions. Price £8 per person per session (plus See Tickets commission) - tables can be booked for each session in groups of two, four and six people. Every session will hear the DJ and the Band.
Please note, except in the event of the event being cancelled no refunds or exchanges will be available.
There will be 30 minutes between sessions for a proper clean down.
We are sorry to report that, due to Covid19's significant impact on our business, we are still not yet wheelchair accessible. Currently, the only way of entering the Docks Academy is via a flight of stairs. However, our mid term plans include a wheelchair accessible lift coming up to a new external balcony which will have level access to the venue, funding allowing. Please rest assured wheelchair access remains our highest priority and as soon as we have reopened with our non socially distanced programme we will look at this in earnest. We are grateful for your forbearance.
