Funk My Life is the disco, funk and house brainchild of Daz and Bri (DJ BY Name and DJ Bri Buckle). After packing out venues in Harrogate and Wakefield, and graduating to HiFi and Beaver Works, FML has landed in Grimsby's Church of Beer and Music.

Get ready for nostalgic vibes - old skool piano classics infused with NuDisco and a dose of today's current House sound. Docks Academy will be filled with classic anthems and current heaters and Baz (MarmaJam) will bring extra funk to the party!

Lining up either side of Utah Saints’ set will be a host of FML’s DJs including DJ Bri Buckle, DJ By Name, MarmaJam, Moo (UK)- playing Funk, Disco and House from 8 till late.

Utah Saints have been making music, DJ'ing and playing gigs around the globe since the birth of House Music. The world-renowned duo has released 9 Top 40 UK hits, 4 of which hit the Top 10, and sold over 2 million records worldwide (equivalent to 800m+ streams).

Precariously walking the tightrope between genres and also between the underground and mainstream, Utah Saints roots are firmly in electronic dance music.

Having met in a club in Leeds at the beginning of the rave movement in the UK, they've subsequently established themselves as pioneers of sampling in dance music. Alongside this success, they set up and promoted award winning and legendary club nights The Gallery and SugarBeatClub in Leeds with residencies also in Edinburgh and London.

They have recorded and presented shows for BBC Radio 1, Kiss and Ministry of Sound.

Utah Saints are still very much at the top of their game, DJ'ing regularly each month as well as curating festival stages such as Beatherder - putting on an eclectic range of artists and DJ's. They have played alongside diverse artists from DJ Zinc to Justice, Zane Lowe to A-Trak, Friendly Fires to Boys Noize and U2 to Public Enemy. They have DJ'd and played at over 3000 events from underground clubs to festival mainstages, including supporting U2 on the Zooropa stadium tour.

Their collaborations have been as eclectic as the music they create. From sampling to the production and writing of tracks with artists including Michael Stipe from REM, Kate Bush, Annie Lennox, Edwin Starr, Chuck D (Public Enemy), Terrorvision, Arthur Baker, Annabella Lwin (Bow Wow Wow), Drumsound and Bassline Smith to name a few...

Recent accolades (2022) include being listed in Rolling Stone as one of the 200 Greatest Dance Songs of All Time with 'Something Good' listed at 138. Something Good 08, was the most played track on Radio One and was the 10th most streamed track of that year, it has recently been awarded Gold status in the UK.

When the pioneering musicians aren’t playing at clubs and festivals in various parts of the world, they can be found in the studio working on their own material as well as producing and remixing other artists from The Stone Roses and Girls Aloud to Bring Me The Horizon and Hawkwind.
