We want to say thank you for supporting our Fresh Catch nights in its first year of pushing new, live acts local to our area. We are thrilled to present Fresh Catch 4, taking place on Friday 2nd February. This Fresh Catch is welcoming three bands who are pushing and blending genres from our local area: Intercity, Riverwolf, M-Fatic
Fresh Catch is all about giving people the opportunity to hear new artists when they’re starting out or to catch a band from another part of the country that is on the up. It’s an awesome feeling to stand back knowing you’ve been there from their first shows and witnessed their growth into a recognised talent in the music industry.
Fresh Catch is a Docks Academy project which has successfully secured funding from Arts Council England. This vital funding helps us deliver on our commitment to support emerging artists, develop grassroots music at Docks Academy, build our youth audience, and improve accessibility.
Intercity is an electronic rock band from Lincolnshire, UK. Their mix of rock music and Drum N’ Bass has made them one of the most interesting and unique live bands on the scene. The band have previously headlined their own sold-out shows, as well as slots at festivals in the county and their own BBC Introducing live session.
Comprised of Connor Gregory heading up lead vocals, Lewis Hay on keys and guitar, Jack Norman on lead guitar and Jon Foulds on Drums. The band started writing material back in January 2017, throwing demos back and forth cross country as Jack and Connor originally resided in Liverpool.
