The headliner for May's Red Herring Comedy Club is The Raymond & Mr Timpkins Review, A comedy twosome with over two decades of mucking about behind them. They have been everywhere from New Zealand to The Falklands and Exeter to Edinburgh with many a stop in between.
In 2019 they won the UK Comedy Awards Comedian of the Year award.
Ricky Balshaw is a comedian and Paralympic, World Championship and European Championship dressage medallist. Born with cerebral palsy, he started riding as part of his physiotherapy at the age of 4. At the age of 14 he was invited to join the British Paralympic dressage team and is still the youngest person to be inducted to the senior team.
Ricky reached the semi-final stage of the 2021 BBC New Comedy Award competition and appeared on BBC One and BBC Three. He also won Best New Act in the 2021 Midlands Comedy Awards and he has performed at comedy clubs and festivals around the UK including Just The Tonic, Glee, Leicester Comedy Festival and Brighton Fringe.
Scott Bennett has appeared on Live At The Apollo, BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Now Show, The Likely Dads and Elephant in the Room with Sarah Millican, The Summer Festival with Daliso Chaponda, The Comedy Club with Arthur Smith, and Knock Knock with Helen Lederer. He also featured on the BBC One show, Live from The Edinburgh Fringe.
Ricky has also been Rob Brydon's Tour support, as well as a writer for Jason Manford, Chris Ramsey’s TV Show and Daliso Chaponda’s Radio 4 show.

Barry Dodds is your MC for the evening. Barry is a comedian, gamer, ghost hunter, minister, Erasure super fan, occasional boxer, a presenter of The ParaPod and the co-star in The ParaPod Movie, along with ParaPod co-presenter Ian Boldsworth.
Barry has been serving up his chunky comedy soup since he was 21. He’s been a finalist in comedy competitions such as Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol & Jongleurs Last Laugh Comedy Search and supported comedians like Jason Manford on his UK tour.
Jasper Carrott even called him “Very Impressive” once.
