November's headline comedian is Justin Moorhouse.
"About me? I won Celebrity Mastermind on the 30th December 2011 on BBC1 – my chosen subject was Les Dawson. I’m a vegetarian, dog owner, father of two and I like Batman quite a bit. I’m a comedian, actor, writer and radio presenter. I’m not very good at juggling or triple jump.
I’ve done a couple of pantomimes and more theatrically I’ve done two very lovely plays at the Royal Exchange in Manchester. I write and appear in the Radio 4 sitcom called Everyone Quite Likes Justin – it’s often repeated on Radio 4 Extra I’ll be popping up here and there doing gigs all over the place. I’m on tour and all the dates are on my website. I’m very good at hosting corporate events and doing after-dinner stuff. You can ask my agent for nice letters people have written about me (I’ve got my own black suit and everything).
I delivered a car to Sally once on Coronation Street. I was Doug, she told me to do one. I did one. Then I went back to Weatherfield for 3 episodes as Dean Upton the landlord of The Flying Horse in Summer 2014 – a role I still play (completely off-screen)."

He has recently supported TV names such as Josh Pugh and Suzi Ruffel on their UK tours and was nominated for BBC New Act of the Year 2018 and 2019, performing on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Warwickshire.
Award-winning stand-up comedian Alun Cochrane has appeared on numerous TV shows including Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Russell Howard’s Good News, Mock The Week, Dave’s One Night Stand, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You and 8 Out Of 10 Cats. He was featured as series regular ‘Sam’ in the Sky Living sitcom Trying Again, alongside Chris Addison and has appeared in Coronation Street, Boomers and Russell Howard’s Christmas film A Gert Lush Christmas.
Alun is a master at observational comedy, an expert in storytelling and uniquely able to gather material from anywhere he wanders in mind or body.
“Cochrane’s on-stage persona is allied to a real craft and creativity in his writing, yielding results that satisfy both the comedy purists and those who simply want big belly laughs on a night out” - The Guardian
MC for the evening is Grimsby's favourite Lloyd Griffith. You all know him...
