After the previous Day Drinking success, the ultimate 80s event is coming to Docks Academy!

Get ready for the biggest daytime party of the year! Docks Academy presents Docks Day Drinking: 80s, a massive celebration of all things neon, synths and shoulder pads.

On Saturday, 25 October, we’re turning back the clock for a non-stop playlist of the decade’s most iconic anthems. From new wave and synth-pop to hair rock ballads, disco throwbacks and unstoppable dancefloor fillers, DJ Steve Rusling will be spinning every 80s essential from 2pm onwards. If it lit up the charts in the 80s, you’ll hear it here.

It’s time to raid the wardrobe (or your parents’ attic) for the best 80s fashion. Think leg warmers, double denim, leather jackets, sequins, power suits and big hair. Dressing up is highly encouraged, whether you’re channeling Madonna, Prince, Bowie or a member of Duran Duran.

This is your official invitation to relive the magic of the 80s one timeless anthem at a time. Forget the chores and the chaos, and get ready for an afternoon of pure retro bliss.

The party wraps up in the early evening, leaving you plenty of time to get home and recover.
