Docks Academy will host two of the best tributes in the country, Sex Pistols Exposé & The Clashed, on Friday 3rd June 2022.

The Sex Pistols Exposé create the most authentic gig you will ever get, the closest thing to seeing Rotten, Vicious, Cook & Jones. If that wasn’t enough, fellow Anarchy Tour legends The Clash are included on the bill reimagined by ‘the only tribute band that matters’ and by far the best, The Clashed. From White Riot through Rock The Casbah, these guys cover the lot and with two singers, classics from Strummer & Jones get the treatment they deserve.

Next month local music students from Grimsby Institute for Higher Education will ‘take over’ Docks Academy to showcase their bands in a live setting in front of a capacity audience.

This free event is on Friday 17th June and aims to give students the opportunity to be treated like established artists and allow them the opportunity to perform on a real stage in front of a real crowd which will give them an essential practical experience which has been impossible to achieve during the pandemic. The evening will feature covers of popular rock and indie tracks you will love and have heard before, as well as original music. The line-up consists of: Supermix, Sparrows, Castaways, Bobby Two-shoes and the Suffragettes, Lil Spen and The State of Art.

This special appearance promises a no holds barred immersive party complete with an all-star cast of crazy and shady characters, flamboyant dancers, disco divas and the best music from the grooviest Decade. Get raiding the charity shops and pull together your most outrageous 70s costume.

Beerlesque returns to Docks Academy in June to showcase the UK’s best modern burlesque and variety artists who are the living embodiment of glamour, sophistication and empowerment. We guarantee a dazzling night of rhinestones, feathers and sassy strutting, all under the watchful eye of your regular hostess Kiki Deville. This is the totally different Saturday night experience you have been looking for.

Beerlesque consists of the KIKI DEVILLE, COCO DEVILLE, KIKI LOVECHILD, TALULAH BLUE and SCARLETT DAGGERS. This was a very popular show when it was last hosted at Docks so act fast!
